This story has been updated.

Authorities are currently responding to a residential mobile home fire in north Forsyth.

According to Forsyth County Fire Department Spokesman Division Chief Jason Shivers, the fire occurred at a single-wide mobile home on Hammond Drive in North Forsyth on Thursday afternoon.

Shivers said that the fire was heavily involved when fire crews arrived on scene, with flames venting through the roof of the mobile home, but the blaze has since been "knocked down".

It is unknown whether the structure was occupied, but according to Shivers, no victims have been found in the structure yet.

Hammond Drive and Johnson Drive were shut down for several hours so that the fire department could run their water lines, but at of 5:40 p.m. on Thursday both roadways had been reopened, Shivers said.
