Ga. 400 upcoming lane closures, slab replacement continues
Ga. 400 construction

Work will start on the northbound side of Ga. 400 on Friday to replace portions of the concrete driving surface, or concrete slab replacement.

Before the concrete slabs can be replaced, Georgia DOT will need to measure and mark these areas. This work will have workers and equipment in the travel lanes and will require double lane closures Friday morning. Friday evening double lane closures are also needed to remove the old concrete sections and pour new slabs.

Northbound Double Lane Closures

Friday morning: 7 a.m. to noon double righthand lane closure northbound from Hwy. 20 to Bald Ridge Marina Road for measuring and marking the locations concrete slabs need to be removed.

Friday night:  beginning at 9 p.m. double righthand lane closure between Hwy. 141 to Hwy. 20 northbound for concrete slab replacement. This double lane closure will be continuous until Sunday, April 29 at 5 p.m.

During this work on Friday through Sunday, Ga. 400 northbound will be reduced to one lane.
