GASSAR members participate in parade
Georgia Society Sons of the American Revolution
Members from the Robert Forsyth Chapter of the Georgia Society Sons of the American Revolution (GASSAR),  pose for a photo in colonial uniforms before the Thomas-Mashburn Steam Engine Parade held in downtown Cumming last week. According to chapter president John Flikeid, during the parade GASSAR members passed out stars cut from retired American flags to veterans in the crowd, honoring “the flag and the veteran, for their service.”
