ATLANTA (AP) — Georgia Tech officials say a student who was the focus of a search after he went missing after a Friday night sorority event has been found alive.
The university said in a statement that a friend searching for 24-year-old James Hubert found him alive Monday morning. School officials said he was taken to a hospital for medical care, but gave no other details.
Atlanta police had asked for the public's help in finding Hubert, who had last been seen late Friday night in the city's Howell Station neighborhood, west of the university's campus.
Hubert is a member of the Phi Delta Theta fraternity at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
