The Midway Park Athletic Association unveiled a new press box at the park off Post Road on Friday that was dedicated to longtime volunteers Andrew Dickman and John Roberts and their respective families.

Dickman and his family were selected for their years of service and volunteering at Midway Park, and their plaque was presented in honor of Dickman’s wife, Beth, who recently died of cancer.

Roberts and his family donated the materials and building of the tower as well as have volunteered at the park for many years, even with no kids involved in the program.

“Both are well deserving and serve as a model of what giving back should look like for our Midway family,” Midway vice president of football Robbie Cato said.
