This weekend won’t be the Cumming Fairgrounds’ first rodeo, but it will be one of the biggest events of the year.
The International Professional Rodeo Association’s World Championship Rodeo will be at the Fairgrounds from Friday through Sunday, with start times of 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 7 p.m. on Sunday.
The rodeo is a Labor Day weekend tradition at the Fairgrounds and is in its 19th year in Cumming.
Each night will have bull riding, bareback riding, calf roping, barrel racing, steer wrestling, team roping, cowgirl breakaway roping and saddle bronc riding events.
Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for seniors over 65 and children 5-12 and free for those 4 and under. Tickets can be purchased at the gate two hours before the event.
