Lane closures for two projects along Hwy. 369, Browns Bridge Road will create delays tonight. 

- Beginning at 7 p.m. concrete pouring, to complete one of the caissons, or columns, for the new bridge will continue overnight until 6 a.m. 
The replacement of the Hwy. 369 bridge, was awarded to Scott Bridge Company Inc., in fall of 2017 with a scheduled completion in April 2020. This project replaces Brown Bridge, the iconic green metal truss bridge, over the Chattahoochee River, Lake Lanier.

 
- Beginning at 8 p.m. resurfacing activities will create a lane closure overnight until 6 a.m. 

C.W. Matthews Contracting Co. Inc., was awarded the project in fall of 2017 with a completion date of Oct. 31. This project consists of 4.196 miles of resurfacing on Hwy. 369 from the Forsyth County line to Hwy. 53. The construction contract amount is $1.4 million.
