UPDATE: Cpl. Doug Rainwater said the situation has been resolved and the woman is being transported to a local hospital.

The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office currently has a heavy presence responding to a call in northwest Forsyth County.

Cpl. Doug Rainwater said the sheriff’s office is responding to a call reporting a woman intending to harm herself. Rainwater said she does have a gun and officers have contained the incident to her property.

Officers are attempting to establish contact with the woman.

A social media post said the incident is on Aubrey Drive, which is off Heardsville Road and near Pisgah Road.
