What: The annual Taste of Forsyth event brings together 25 of the area’s best restaurants and adds live music to create the yummiest community gathering of the year. Some of the restaurants include Bo’s Hawaiian Shaved Ice, Bruster’s Ice Cream, Chinese Southern Bell, Frozen Cow Creamery, Kona Ice, Los Rios, Marlow’s Tavern, Marie’s Italian Deli, Mo Pho Express, Red Robin, Taco Mac, Tam’s Tupelo, Texas Roadhouse and Williamson Bros. BBQ. There will also be live music, a kids zone and three Easter egg hunts for ages 3 and under (11:30 a.m.), 4-7 (1 p.m.) and 8-10 (2:30 p.m.)

Here’s how to celebrate Earth Day
What: Celebrate Earth Day at the Sawnee Mountain Preserve with a spring festival. The event will feature guided hikes, rock climbing, tree climbing, zip lining, yoga, crafts, games and educational activities and presentations “to promote preservation, conversation, stewardship and outdoor recreation,” according a Forsyth County government press release.
When: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 20

A very special Easter
What: River Rocks Church has designed an Easter celebration for the special needs community with sensory-sensitive environments, audible eggs for the visually impaired and an ADA accessible indoor egg hunt. There will also be face painting, crafting, bounce houses, free barbecue and music. Curbside drop-off and parking are available, as is a special entrance for sensory sensitive individuals.
