A group of 25-30 local volunteers regularly knit and crochet afghans, hats and scarves for Northside Hospital Forsyth’s chemotherapy patients and newborns as part of the hospital’s volunteer auxiliary program. To support that program, the volunteers are hosting their annual Crafters Bazaar.

Volunteers will be selling handmade gifts for all ages during the two-day event. Part of the proceeds will go toward the Northside Hospital Forsyth Auxiliary Scholarship that is offered to students enrolled in a medical field of study or health-related degree program at an accredited college, university or technical school.

When: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Thursday and Friday, Nov. 14 and 15

Where: Cafeteria hallway at Northside Hospital Forsyth, 1200 Northside Forsyth Drive in Cumming

Cost: Free entry. Purchase gifts using cash or check only.
