CUMMING — The Forsyth County Arts Alliance is accepting applications for funding from local/regional arts providers.

The deadline for grant letters of intent is Friday, with the application deadline on May 22. Guidelines for both can be found online at www.ForsythArtsAlliance.com.

The mission of the alliance, a fund of the North Georgia Community Foundation, is to enrich the quality of life in Cumming and Forsyth County by connecting people to the arts through programming, communication and support of artists and arts organizations.

The alliance was created by proceeds from the sale of the Sawnee Arts Center, with a portion of the annual investment income awarded as grant funds.
