CUMMING — The deadline to apply for 2015 grants from the Forsyth County Arts Alliance Fund is May 22.

The grants are available to 501(c)3 organizations and governmental entities. The arts programming, project or event must benefit the residents of Cumming/Forsyth County and occur between July 1, 2015, and June 30, 2016.

The Forsyth County Arts Alliance Fund, which is administered by the North Georgia Community Foundation, benefits local and regional arts providers.

The grants will be awarded at a luncheon Aug. 11. Applications should be mailed or hand-delivered to the Cumming-Forsyth County Chamber of Commerce, Attn: FCCA, 212 Kelly Mill Road, Cumming, GA 30040 by noon May 22.

The alliance was created by proceeds from the sale of the Sawnee Arts Center, with a portion of the annual investment income awarded as grant funds.
