Today is Father's Day, an occasion to celebrate fathers and enjoy a family get-together or outing.

The Primrose School on Sanders Road near Cumming kicked off Father’s Day weekend Friday with “Doughnuts for Dads.”

The school invited the fathers of its students to stop in for breakfast and some handmade gifts from their children.

“It means a lot to their dads, it means even more to the kids,” said Kim Coleman, who owns the facility with his wife, Debbie.

“It gives us an opportunity to show the dads our environment and what we do.”

The Forsyth County News dropped in on “Doughnuts for Dads” to see what the Primrose students had done for their dads, as well as their plans for the big day.
