Friday is the last day to help a Forsyth County family win a sizable donation for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.

The Changar family of Cumming is a finalist in Primrose Schools’ national Family Dance-off video contest.

If the family receives the most online votes at, it will win a $30,000 donation for Children’s and a $5,000 cash prize.

Second-place winners in the contest will receive a $20,000 donation and a $3,000 cash prize, while third-place finishers will receive a $15,000 donation and $1,500 prize.

As finalists in the contest, the family has already earned a $1,000 donation to Children’s.

According to a release from Primrose Schools, Glori and Allan decided to participate in the dance-off after seeing fliers displayed at Primrose School of Steeplechase, which their 6-month-old daughter Gianna attends.

“As relatively new parents to the school, we were excited to get involved and thrilled to have the opportunity to support a great cause like Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta,” said Glori Changar in a statement.

The dance contest seeks to encourage families to be active together as a way of combating the United States’ childhood obesity problem.

Today is the last day for the public to vote for the Changar’s video, called “Meet the Changars,” in which they recreate the opening of “The Flintstones” cartoon.

The three winners will be determined solely by the popular votes received.

Winners will be announced Saturday.
