Hometown News: Dozens of Forsyth County residents climbed bleachers to honor 9/11
For the Forsyth County News

On Saturday, Sept. 7, dozens of Forsyth County residents and first responders ran the bleachers at West Forsyth High School in remembrance of the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001.

VO2 Personal Training organized the event for the second year in a row. Participants ran the equivalent of the 110-story World Trade Center buildings with a nametag for a fallen first responder. All proceeds were donated to a firefighter benefit fund.
