The event, set for 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Central Part Recreation Center, will provide the public a chance to learn about the organization and its programs and offerings.
According to the organization’s environmental program manager, the gathering will be “a very informal event.”
“It’s designed to highlight what KFCB does in the community and an opportunity for us to connect with potential new volunteers, board members, committee members and sponsors,” Tammy Wright said in a statement.
Wright said residents, as well as representatives of clubs, organizations and businesses, are welcome.
Keep Forsyth County Beautiful works with government, businesses, schools, civic organizations and residents to reduce litter, increase recycling and beautify the community.
Some of its offerings include: Adopt-A-Road and Adopt-A-Stream programs; electronics recycling events; and educational efforts.
