NORTH FORSYTH — Alexandria Bagwell, a senior at North Forsyth High School, has signed a musical theater contract with The South Carolina School of the Arts at Anderson University.

Bagwell was awarded a theater, leadership and academic scholarship to attend the university in the fall.

She has performed at The Cumming Playhouse in “Big River” and “Oklahoma,” as well as plays at North Forsyth middle and high schools, according to her mother, Tonia Bagwell, who works at North Middle.

“Recently, she performed in the opening number at the Georgia Thespian Conference in Columbus, and in the opening number of the Shuler Hensley Georgia High School Musical Theater Awards at the Cobb Energy Center,” her mother said.

“She is thankful that God has given her this wonderful opportunity to continue her education at such a wonderful school and pursue her passion in musical theater.”
