Forsyth County's full parks and recreation activity guide can be reviewed online at or copies are available at Central or Fowler parks.

Forsyth County has released its parks and recreation activity guide for March through August.

The guide includes information and pricing for upcoming county recreational activities, exercise classes, youth summer camps and sports.

Some new programs being offered include classes in adult painting, tai chi and spin, or stationary bike, said program supervisor Laura Pate.

Boot camp and sunrise yoga will also be offered for the first time at Fowler Park, which opened last month.

Pate recommended that those interested in taking a zumba or spin class register early, since those programs can fill up quickly.

For the summer months only, she said, youth camps are offered, including art, gymnastics, nature and sports.

Registration can be done by mail, fax, in person at Central or Fowler parks or, for previous registrants, online at the county's Web site.
