The eighth annual Forsyth County Senior Expo has been rescheduled for Feb. 27.

Shelley Johnson, director of county senior services, said in a statement that the Feb. 13 event “had to be cancelled due to inclement weather.”
Forsyth County received about 3 inches of snow on Feb. 12.

“We are delighted that we have been able to reschedule the expo and hope everyone can come out and enjoy all that it has to offer,” Johnson said.

The free expo, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., will bring together more than 70 vendors to provide services, information and opportunities for seniors.

Among the offerings are free health screenings for blood pressure, glucose, osteoporosis and vision.

A parking shuttle for guests will be available. There also will be door prizes and refreshments.
