The fourth annual Days of Summer Festival returns this weekend to south Forsyth.

A petting farm, rides, traditional fair food and nightly entertainment will run today through Sunday.

Event organizer Laura Frends said a group of Harlem Globetrotters will also be there daily.

“You can shoot hoops with them and they’ll be doing demonstrations,” she said.

Money raised from the festival will go toward Court Appointed Special Advocate, or CASA, and the Serenity Arts Center.

The center is Frends’ special project and involves converting the Sharon schoolhouse on Old Atlanta Road into a visual and performance arts center.
The county currently has no such facility.

The festival runs from 5 to 10 p.m. today and 1 to 10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at 3121 Peachtree Parkway.
