Boil water advisory issued for part of North Forsyth
Bannister Mockingbird 2 mile radius
The affected area includes about a two mile radius around the area of Mockingbird and Bannister Roads, according to information released by the water department. (Radius shown is an approximation based on information provided)

FORSYTH COUNTY- The Forsyth County Water Department used an automated phone calling system to alert residents in a section of northwestern Forsyth County just before noon on Saturday, advising them to boil their drinking and cooking water for the next 48 hours.

According to Communications Director Jodi Gardner, the advisory was issued after a water main break in the Bannister Road area.  Gardner said the boil water advisory had nothing to do with manganese that had been causing water in much of Forsyth County to have a yellowish color for the past few days.

According to information released by the water department, the affected area is about a two mile radius around the area of Mockingbird and Bannister Roads.
