FORSYTH COUNTY — The Forsyth commission on Thursday night gave final approval to the county’s 2015 operating budget.

There was no discussion of the $103.4 million general fund budget during the meeting, and the vote was 5-0 in favor.

Earlier in the year, the commission adopted the millage rates that will fund a major portion of the budget, the fire district and bonds.

The county’s total millage rate remained unchanged, at 7.656, for the fifth consecutive year.
