Forsyth County government holding survey for residential design standard input
Forsyth County

Forsyth County officials are looking for public input into new design standards.

Through May 2, an online survey will be available at ForsythCo.com for local residents to give input on residential design standards for single-family Res-2, Res-3 and Res-4 zoning districts.

Those standards will include exterior materials, roofs, garages, windows, connectivity and walkability, lighting, site design and others.

Responses from the survey will be used in future planning in the county. New design standards were identified as a task in the community work program of the comprehensive plan adopted by commissioners in 2017.

Previously, the county held a listening session in March and open house in April to discuss changes to the standards.

The survey will be available until 11:59 p.m. Wednesday, May 2 and is available online at SurveyGizmo.com/s3/4319978/Forsyth.
