During the April 20 Forsyth County Board of Commissioners’ meeting, Keep Forsyth County Beautiful (KFCB) was recognized for recent accolades and awards. On March 24, KFCB received the 2017 Watershed Award from the Georgia Department of Natural Resources (DNR). KFCB volunteers Ralph Cromer and Andres Torres received the Georgia DNR 2017 Innovation in Adopt-A-Stream Award for a remote watering station they built. KFCB Community Outreach Specialist Kevin Smith was awarded the Georgia DNR 2017 Rivers Alive Organizer of the Year award for his efforts in organizing and conducting waterway cleanups in Forsyth County.
