Voters wanting to cast a ballot in local, state and federal elections this November are running out of time to register if they haven’t done so already.
The deadline to vote in the Nov. 6 General and Special Elections is Tuesday, and those wanting to register have several ways to do so.
Voters can register in person by submitting a voter registration application to the county’s voter registration and elections office, which moved this year from the county administration building to a new facility at 1201 Sawnee Drive.
Those applications can be picked up from the elections office or at any branch of the Forsyth County Public Library and must be submitted by 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
Applications can also be mailed in but must be postmarked by Oct. 9.
To register online, voters can go to MVP.sos.ga.gov, where they can also check if they are registered, print out a paper registration and find their polling place.
Online registration must be done by 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday and requires a valid driver’s license or identification card from the state.
