Dan Bohler has been named executive director of Celebration Village Forsyth, the 325-home master-planned senior living community in south Forsyth County.
Bohler will be responsible for ensuring that the community’s core philosophy of Masterpiece Living is implemented in day-to-day operations and remains integral to the community’s growth.
“Dan has a solid track record of maximizing the potential of older adults, which is the foundation of the lifestyle we’ve created at Celebration Village Forsyth,” said David M. Mills, president and chief operation officer of AgeWell Living LLC, the owner and manager of Celebration Village. “We are delighted to have someone with Dan’s leadership capabilities and expertise step into this role.”
Bohler joins Celebration Village with 27 years of experience with senior living communities. He most recently served as executive director of Discovery Village at Sugarloaf, where he was responsible for the overall operation and management of the community. Prior to that, he was campus executive director of Oak Manor Senior Living and regional director of operations for The Barrington Assisted Living, both in Largo, Fla.
After graduating from Clearwater Christian College with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, Bohler began his career in senior living as a prep cook, then marketing manager and ultimately an administrator in Venice, Fla.
“I am thrilled to take the helm at Celebration Village Forsyth,” Bohler said. “The community has a strong, values-based commitment to successful aging, which is supported by enriching programing and a resort-style atmosphere. With these tools and the high-quality staff, I look forward to continuing to provide an exceptional quality of life to the community’s residents.”
