According to a news release from the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office, John Peter Trump, a 56 year old from Dawsonville, was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck after his vehicle, a 1993 GMC Sierra left the road and struck a tree.

Deputies arrived at the scene around 7 p.m. Monday.
