Shots were exchanged this morning between a local man and two Georgia State Patrol employees. Capt. Keith Canup said the man, identified as Leighton Beaux Marchetta, 21, pulled up in a truck at about 8 a.m. to the patrol office on Cleveland Highway and started firing from a large caliber rifle near the building that houses the Specialized Collision Reconstruction Team.
