An 82-year-old man remained hospitalized Friday for injuries he suffered in a crash involving a Forsyth County Sheriff’s vehicle, authorities said.

John Howley Buice Jr., of Amanda Lane, was taken Wednesday afternoon to North Fulton Hospital in Roswell after his Buick LeSabre collided with a Chevrolet Tahoe on Peachtree Parkway (Hwy. 141).

Forsyth County Sheriff’s Capt. Tim House said Buice was listed in intensive care Friday and could face charges connected to the wreck.

Buice was apparently headed west on Peachtree Parkway when his car struck the back of the parked truck.

House said Sheriff’s Lt. Jody Chapman, the driver of the Tahoe, was on Peachtree Parkway directing school traffic at Pinecrest Academy when the collision happened. He was not injured in the wreck.
