A 76-year-old woman who disappeared from her home earlier Friday has been found safe in Alpharetta, according to the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office.

Wanda Gaylor, who authorities said has a medical condition that made finding her a priority, had been reported missing by her husband about 3 p.m. She was found about 5:55 p.m.

Her husband had last seen Gaylor about 7 a.m. when he left their home on Stratfield Drive in the Cambridge Hills subdivision off of Hwy. 20.

He returned home about 11:30 a.m. to find her and her vehicle missing and thought she had possibly left to run errands.

Authorities later confirmed that she had bought gas that morning in the Haynes Bridge Road area of northern Fulton County.
