CUMMING — Veterans Memorial Boulevard heading east into downtown Cumming has been reduced to one lane as emergency personnel attend to a motorcycle crash.

While the extent of any injuries is not known, the man was awake after his motorcycle collided with a sport-utility vehicle at the corner of Veterans Memorial and Resthaven Street, between the Forsyth County News and the Forsyth County Detention Center.

Resthaven, which connects to Atlanta Road (Hwy. 9), has been shut down.

Motorists should avoid the area if possible.
