NORTH FORSYTH — A man reportedly suffered life-threatening injuries Tuesday morning when his motorcycle struck the back of a sports utility vehicle on Ga. 400 in north Forsyth.

According to the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office, the collision occurred about 8:30 a.m. on Ga. 400 south at Browns Bridge Road (Hwy. 369). The man was taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville.

The female driver of the SUV also was taken to an area hospital, said Epifanio Rodriguez, a spokesman for the sheriff’s office. She reportedly did not have any visible injuries but complained of pain.

There were no passengers in either vehicle. As of Tuesday morning, no charges had been filed, Rodriguez said.

Ga. 400 was reduced to one lane for about an hour.
