Motorcyclist injured in crash on Pilgrim Mill Road
emergency

CUMMING — A motorcyclist was seriously injured late last week when his motorcycle collided with a vehicle near Ga. 400 in Cumming.

The 27-year-old man was reportedly heading west on Pilgrim Mill Road about 6:30 p.m. Friday when an eastbound 2016 Ford Escape attempted to turn left onto Antioch Road, said Forsyth County Sheriff’s Cpl. Robin Regan.

The 2015 Harley Davidson struck the passenger side of the sport utility vehicle, throwing the man from the motorcycle.

Conscious at the scene, he was taken to North Fulton Hospital with what Regan described as serious but non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the SUV, a 58-year-old woman, was not injured.

Both drivers had Cumming addresses.

Drugs and alcohol are not suspected in this crash, Regan said.

No charges have been filed and the sheriff’s office is handling the investigation.
