NORTH FORSYTH — A man suffered head injuries early Tuesday when the motorcycle he was riding was struck by a pickup truck in north Forsyth.

The collision occurred as the driver of the pickup reportedly pulled out of a gas station on Browns Bridge Road (Hwy. 369) between Settingdown Road and Ga. 400 about 6 a.m., according to Epifanio Rodriguez, a spokesman for the sheriff’s office.

The motorcyclist was taken to an area hospital with what were described as non-life threatening injuries.

Rodriguez said drugs or alcohol are not suspected factors in the crash, for which there could be charges.

There were no passengers in either vehicle.

Hwy. 369 was partially shut down for about an hour as crews worked to clear the scene.
