The deadline to enter the Seen it in Forsyth contest is 5 p.m. Monday.

There’s still time to play Seen it in Forsyth?, a scavenger hunt of sorts that appears in the Forsyth County News’ annual Life in Forsyth section.

The popular section, a guide to living in the state’s top county, came out July 28.

Readers have until 5 p.m. Monday to test their local knowledge by identifying 22 photographs of various local curiosities and familiar sights from every corner of the county.

Using the worksheet found in the section, tell us what and where they are to vie for prizes.

There’s no purchase necessary to play, and worksheet copies are available at the front counter of the newspaper.

The person who correctly identifies the most photographs will win the challenge. One entry per person.

Gift cards to local restaurants will be awarded for first ($100), second ($75) and third place ($50). In the event of a tie, the entries that correctly identified the most photos will be put into a random drawing.

Entries must be received at the Forsyth County News by 5 p.m. Monday. E-mail to editor@forsythnews.com or mail to P.O. Box 210, Cumming, GA 30028 (must be postmarked by Aug. 5).

They can also be dropped off at the newspaper, 302 Veterans Memorial Blvd., Cumming, GA.

Winners will be announced in the Sunday, Aug.18, edition of Forsyth County News and on forsythnews.com.

So don’t delay, take the test today.
