Notary classes offered by court of clerk’s office

This September, the Forsyth County Superior Court Clerk’s office is hosting free, informative training classes for anyone who is interested in becoming a notary in the state of Georgia.

According to a news release from the Forsyth County Clerk of Courts office, two sessions of their notary public training classes will be open to the public on Sept. 14, from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The classes will be hosted by Forsyth County Clerk of Superior Court Greg G. Allen and Georgia Superior Court Clerks Authority representative Mike Smith.

The release states that the class would be perfect for anyone interested in becoming a notary public in Georgia, or current notaries that want to learn more.

Anyone interested in the classes must be a legal resident of Georgia and Forsyth County. The classes are free, but interested parties must register with the court clerk’s office prior to attending.
