As the fireworks thundered into the night sky, thousands of people lined the streets of downtown Cumming to watch the show.

Downtown Cumming was packed Thursday night as thousands of people came out for the annual fireworks display.  The crowds are expected to return Friday morning for the annual steam engine parade.
