Partisan politics may be the current game in Washington, D.C., but in Forsyth County the parties are working together.
The Forsyth County Democratic, Republican and Tea parties are sponsoring a public meeting next month to discuss the upcoming state redistricting process.
Set for Aug. 3 at the Forsyth County Administration Building, the forum aims to promote discussion.
Residents can talk about what they would like to see as the state’s congressional and legislative districts shift.
The meeting will be facilitated by an independent, non-county resident, who will create a list of the goals and desires that come up.
The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. in Suite 220 of the administration building, 110 East Main St. in downtown Cumming.
