NORTH FORSYTH — An incident involving an RV that burst into flames Monday morning was deemed accidental by fire investigators, authorities said.

Firefighters were dispatched at 7:10 a.m. to a property on Crystal Cove Trail in northeastern Forsyth County, said Fire Division Chief Jason Shivers.

When units arrived, a 1989 Fleetwood RV was “virtually fully involved” in flames.

The fire was contained to the vehicle, which was a total loss, but the home was not damaged and there were no reported injuries.

Investigators determined there was nothing suspicious about the blaze.

“All indications are that it was an electrical failure within the RV,” Shivers said, “but there is no way at this time to determine the specific issue that started it.”
