NORTH FORSYTH – A serious wreck involving two cars has shut down Keith Bridge Road (Hwy. 306) at Leland Drive in north Forsyth, authorities said.

Several people were trapped in their vehicle as Forsyth County emergency personnel attempt to get them out, according to Epifanio Rodriguez, a spokesman for the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office.

At least one person was injured as a helicopter was en route to transport victims to the hospital, he said.
Drivers are asked to avoid the area as crews work to help those involved.
