South Forsyth father, son missing, never made it home from Roswell

UPDATE: Both parties have been found safe, according to officials with the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office.

SOUTH FORSYTH — Forsyth County Sheriff’s deputies are searching for a missing south Forsyth man and his son after their family informed emergency personnel they never made it home Wednesday night.

Michael White, 35, and Michael White Jr., 8, were last heard from about 9:30 p.m. when they told family members they were on their way back from Roswell, heading north to their home off McFarland Parkway.

They were believed to be in their vehicle, a red 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 with a black hood and Georgia license plate of PJM9416, according to Epifanio Rodriguez, a spokesman for the sheriff’s office.

Anyone with information about their whereabouts is asked to contact Forsyth County 911 dispatchers at (770) 781-3087 or at 911 in an emergency.
