The seventh annual Taste of Forsyth is set for noon to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Cumming Fairgrounds.
All proceeds from the event — which offers a sampling of the county’s various restaurants, as well as a taste of its crafts, businesses and entertainers — will go to Family Haven.
Family Haven, a temporary shelter offering help to women and children who are victims of violence, plans to use the funding to put the final touches on a new building, slated to be completed in May.
The event is free and open to the public, though tickets will be on sale for 50 cents each, with food costing between one and six tickets. It will be held rain or shine.
