Three people were injured Monday afternoon after their sport utility vehicle rolled over in a two-vehicle wreck on Sawnee Drive.
According to a Forsyth County Sheriff’s report, an 18-year-old Cumming man driving a Mercury Grand Marquis failed to yield when turning left from Adair Boulevard and struck the Toyota Scion, which was heading west on Sawnee.
The impact caused the Scion to “flip over and land back on its wheels” near Jackson Drive, the report said.
The 30-year-old driver of the Scion and two passengers, all of Cumming, were taken to North Fulton Hospital about 3:30 p.m. with what were described as minor injuries.
Neither the driver of the Mercury, who was cited for failure to yield, nor his passenger were hurt, according to the report. All those involved were wearing seat belts.
