NORTH FORSTYH — Two Mile Creek Park on Lake Lanier in northeastern Forsyth County will be closing Thursday for four months.

According to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the closing will allow for a total renovation of the park.

Among the planned improvements are paving and a new parking lot and picnic sites, as well as a walking trail.

While the park is closed, boaters are encouraged to use the boat ramp at nearby Bethel Park, 8595 Swiss Air Road.
