Final results for Tuesday’s local elections were not available to the Forsyth County News as of press time. For this reason, coverage of the city of Cumming mayoral and city council races, as well as the special election for District 26, will not be featured in Wednesday’s print edition.

On Tuesday, polls were open from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. for three city of Cumming races and a special election to fill the unexpired term of former District 26 state Rep. Geoff Duncan, who stepped down to focus on his campaign for lieutenant governor.
