Vigil set for recent Lambert grad critically injured in wreck

A vigil will be held at Lambert High School on Friday, June 14, 2019 for a Forsyth County teen, Holden Ludwig, who was critically injured in a wreck last week.

A vigil will be held at Lambert High School on Friday, June 14 for a Forsyth County teen, Holden Ludwig, who was critically injured in a wreck last week.

According to a Facebook post made by Ludwig’s family, the vigil will be held at the high school’s main entrance circle at 8 p.m. and participants should plan to park at the school’s stadium parking lots.

The post states that the vigil is intended to lift Ludwig up with positivity, speeding his recovery with prayers, gratitude and light.

Interested participants should bring candles, lighters or get-well-soon cards, if desired, the post states.

Authorities say that Ludwig was injured after two vehicles collided at the intersection of Peachtree Parkway and Old Alpharetta Road at about 9 p.m. on June 4.

The cause of the crash is currently under investigation by the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office’s Traffic Specialist Unit.
