Forsyth County is holding a voter registration drive this weekend at Central, Midway and Sharon Springs parks.

The drive, put on by the county's voter registration and elections department, will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at:

* Central Park, 2300 Keith Bridge Road

* Midway Park, 5100 Post Road

* Sharon Springs Park, 1950 Sharon Road

The registration deadline for the Nov. 4 General Election is Oct. 6.

Residents who miss the weekend event can still register next week by visiting the registrar's office, 110 East Main St. in Cumming, or either of the county libraries for an application, which can be filled out on site.

Applications can also be downloaded online from the Voter Registration and Elections Department section of the county's Web site.

In addition, applications can be sent directly to the Secretary of State's office.
