When is the splash pad opening at Old Atlanta Park?

A recent announcement by Forsyth County is a sure sign that summer is just around the corner.

The splash pad at Old Atlanta Park, 810 Nichols Road, will open for the season on Saturday, May, 25 and will remain open through Friday, Sept. 2. Daily admission for those 1 and up is $2 per person, cash or check only.

From opening day through July 31, the splash pad will be open Tuesday through Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and from Aug. 1 to Sept. 2 hours will be Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to noon and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Adults entering with children who paid are free as long as they remain on the dry deck. Annual passes are available for $30 per person and $60 for a family pass.

The splash pad is also available for two-hour rentals on Sundays for $200. The splash pad and pavilion have a maximum occupancy of 100 people.
