Work progressing on Hwy. 306
Construction

NORTH FORSYTH -- Road work on Keith Bridge Road (Hwy. 306) should be completed within about two months.

According to officials with the Georgia Department of Transportation, work on the road should wrap up by Oct. 31. The road is currently being patched, and repaving will begin once that work is complete.

The repaving will take place on 8.7 miles of route between Dahlonega Highway (Hwy. 9) and will end just west of Dawsonville Highway (Hwy. 53).

To minimize impact for drivers, road work is being done from 6 p.m.-6 a.m. every night of the week, weather permitting.
