A resident has been displaced after a fire in her east Forsyth County home.
According to information from the Forsyth County Fire Department, firefighters responded to a single-story home on fire on Tanglewood Circle at about 9:20 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 24. An occupant and her dog escaped the fire, but the home is likely a total loss.
The homeowner was transported to Northside Hospital Forsyth as a precaution and is in the care of the Red Cross.
The fire is under investigation.
